i just got back from doing a tour there myself - australia rules! - its like california and england in one...nature is about to take over and theres a pub on every corner --- besides the kids there know how to have fun and the laneway fest is very big there... woulda been a good bunch of shows for em - music nerds and regular folks alike. black lips, daniel johnston, eddy current etc were on the bill. i saw a few fountain posters there but no interviews in the street press... isnt this the second plane mac has missed? shame too as gordy has relatives down there.

So it's a combination of california and england where you're hanging upside down like a bat (but in sweltering heat) and there are wild, baby-eating dogs. Oh, and Wabbit says the people are friendly (always a bad sign). If I ever consider going there I'll probably miss the flight.
