THIS IS WHAT I NEED

I wish I had been around for that. Incredible. I posted Over the Wall on a tribute to the 80s page I wrote. There are few drummers who can even hold a candle to Pete and he even got better than what's on these clips. If only... *SIGH* Wish he were still around. They were the most perfect band ever without even trying. If only alot of things... They were breaking all these musical rules and didn't even really know it. I've often wondered if they weren't told to cut out being so inventive for the gray album. At least there's the YouTube stuff.

All the years gone by
The boy who wouldn’t grow up
Yearns for Neverland

KOK, try drinking 8 oz of tequila during the warm up act and when the Bunnymen take the stage it will sound excatly the way you remember it.

I agree that their early songs were some of the best they ever did, fueled by their youthful inspiration. But I do enjoy some of Mac and Will's later work just as much. They are a truly remarkable band. Ian was right when he said “I think our songs sound like they’re from the future" because, unlike other bands from the 80's, their music does not sound dated.

You have a point there, although I don't think The Cure's music sounds dated, either, or The Smiths.

That was precisely what got me about them. I can listen to their stuff today and not feel like I have to hide. Mac's VOICE back then and his rythym guitar skills were something else as well!! Les was an awesome bassist, Will came up with quite unusual solos and Pete, what a loss!!

OMD was good and i don't cringe when I listen to some of their stuff.... Though much like the Bunnymen, the effort to be more commercial essentially broke up the band--ARE WE SEEING A TREND HERE FOLKS??

Where I come from they call that drinking something nice. Like when you have an ugly date and you have to get tanked up to be able to snog them.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Would you quit bringing up our first date? Not all of us can look like George Clooney.

I only did that once...never again. (And I hope snogging means just kissing because that's all that happened.)

I've never. BF's charm made up for the scary face and the gin was my own decision / downfall.

Snogging means kissing, or 'making out' as I believe some call it.

Kissing is first base, whereas making out could conceivably encompass up to third.
