I might give her a pass on that Dave.

Call me a sport.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Aww come on! Psychedelic Furs "Love My Way" and "Sister Europe" were released on Rock Band 2 on Jan 5th. I like Sister Europe but that's a pretty obscure Furs song! I'd have to venture to guess that based on the multiple Bunnymen compilations that seem to get released every year by Warner seemingly without the Bunnymen's consent that there would be a demand for a couple of Bunnymen songs at least.

Do the rights belong to Warner and is it their choice? Edwyn Collins's wife had to fight to be able to post Girl Like You on his myspace when they are HIS songs. Doesn't make sense.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

I don't know but it seems like Warner takes a lot of liberties with the back catalog without any input from the band. I've heard that the Bunnymen owe money to Warner and this is how they try to recoup their debt. It seems like this is a great way to expose people to the Bunnymen with this medium and make some money as well, but I guess it's better to churn out endless compilations even though More Songs To Learn and Sing is all anyone really needs. Oh and don't forget my selfish needs. Maybe if I perform some girlish caterwauling about it things will start happening. It's worked before you know.

Everybody go here and request The Killing Moon or a reasonable choice. Let's use our power for good instead of evil. Or the other way around depending on your point of view.

Wow I just experienced a neat coincidence. Shortly after reading this post, I went over to Amazon.com to look at something, and under "what customers are looking at right now" there was this album by a lady named Charlotte Hatherley. I liked the looks of her on the cover so I gave a listen and I thought it was pretty good, so I wikipeidiad her and it said she used to be with Ash, a band I had never heard of until moments before in the Dr. Cheese post.
