It's so hard to figure out when to take Will at face value or when his tongue is firmly implanted in his cheek. He is very self-effacing and I think he likes to deflect the attention away from himself.

The only way we have of figuring out the truth is to hear the album!

All I hear when I listen to Epic is "look behind Jew" or "it's behind Jew."

"Epic" or "Forgotten Fields" as it was later renamed (given that it seems to be a long very time since that was first played live). You can't make out any of the lyrics, even on the studio version (re. Brazilian radio show). First verse is something like:

In the tree lined cities in forgotten fields
Some are born too pretty
Some are born too real
Such a death wish pity, while the selfish steal
Some growl

I'm lost after that part. "Hey, can't you see, what the be, can't you see. He's behind jew."

Is that a Mac penned tune or the one co-written with Chris I shall not mention his surname?

Lets face it,they are both pretty average in structure and lyrics and the only album they would make post 97 is Flowers.I've been playing Electrafixion album in the car all week and that still sounds fresh and vibrant. The first five songs are essential.Put those songs up against what we've heard of the current batch and there's no contest.

If you notice on the Sky programme Mac is more interested in his new 'new' songs than the Fountain.Presumably Warners wrote off the money invested in the Fountain and gave them the masters. In that case if they bin it at least they've only lost time and not money.I'd rather wait for a great Bunnymen album than a forced average one.

I'll drink to that Mr. Smith.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
