It's almost the new Free Bird.

True and I do yell "Rust" at all the shows I go to. Everyone just stares at me.

You're a good-looking man, Mr. Brian. Get used to it.

Rust is a an amazing song. Saw 'em at the Echo Arena show and Rust was simply stunning. In fact the whole gig was amazing. I saw the Clash, PIL, Damned, U2 way back in the late 70's - early '80's - including the Bunnymen at King Georges Hall, Blackburn. The Bunnymen were up there then but my God the Echo Arena gig was the best I ever saw. Anyway - glad to hear there is so much confusion about what to cover! Sign of a great back catalogue in my view. You definitely have to play the hits as a cover band but if you have a good audience, there's no harm playing other songs that you play well and are passionate about. I'm sure this response will cause even further mayhem but there you go - all in a good cause! As for original material well - like The Fountain your gonna have to wait until the Autumn for that..................!

Except as Ian would sing it of course circa 1981 with that "A Promise" sort of wail. That would be sweet.

Love the Dinosaur Jr. cover of Show Me the Way.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Of course we could play the old Elecric Chairs song "Fuck Off" - have you heard of it? I remember seeing a gig of theirs from years ago at Futurama in Leeds, England. Maybe it would be kind of appropriate you know - nothin' like a good 'ole American group to get your pulse racing...............
