kitchen and home?

I like the way the UK refers to their posters as "PREframed"

I was at that 6/06 Fonda show as were other forum members here. I never noticed that poster! Did anyone else from LA?

Has anyone started drinking yet? Is it me or is anyone else disgusted by green beer and green bagels? That food coloring stuff has got to be unhealthy.

btw, I like the History Chimes section! Very interesting!

GO!!

Is that the north or the south's whiskey? I always remember my uncles fighting over Jameson's and Bushmill's saying one was from the north and the other from the south but I forgot. My one uncle has since died but wanted to be buried with a bottle of Jameson.

I've got some stout and champagne and saw a recipe that's 1/2 glass of each mixed together in a beer glass but that seems like wasting them both by putting them together. It must just taste like beer and champagne.

Hopefully, she won't kill anyone with her drunk driving.

Jameson's from Dublin
Bushmills if from Bushmills, Northern Ireland

Champagne & Guinness? Ew.
Sounds like a fucked up version of a black & tan.

Sorry :frown: just was wondering if anyone was around and still coherent. I'm on LA time so we're behind everyone else here, way behind.

Back to the posters, preframed or framed?

I'm waiting to see if anyone remembers that Fonda one.

It's actually called a "Black Velvet" When I told my Husband the recipe, who btw, has one of those Irish towns for a last name, he said, " I doubt Guinness came up with that."

I do remember buying a couple of the giant "Tube" posters from Push Posters in the 90's - one for Evergreen, the other for What Are You Going To Do With The Rest Of Those Fries...Are You Going To Eat Those?

I ordered at least one poster from Push Posters back in the 90s, too. The one I can remember with certainty is the giant "tube" poster that was the cover of Candleland. Giant Ian lips. Ha!

On my trip to the U.K. in the early 90s, I sought out their retail store in Glasgow (right?) but alas they had no EATB posters for me to purchase.

And I like Jameson's best and green vomit is worse than green beer.

Green-dyed beer, green-dyed rivers, even green-dyed green corn tamales ... it all sounds disgusting

champagne and guinness might not be too bad. I like beer and 7-Up together ... closest thing to a shandy on these shores

Jane ... never made it over to the merch booth at the Fonda. way too crowded.

I made sure I went over to the merch booth (because I felt like I was the only one in 3 decades who hadn't met Peter ) Anyway, I bought one of those tiny girly shirts for my daughter since I myself feel too old to be wearing band shirts :frown:
Too bad I didn't know you to say "hello" then, but next time definitely!

I never noticed the posters that night! See Brian, I'm back on topic  AND I'm still sober. I wonder how many shots FTB has had so far, or "squirrels", as my dead uncle liked to call them.

Actually, not even the one.
I lied. Didn't have the Jameson poured.

Been a beautiful day. Went for a walk on the waterfront. Had some fish & chips and a coke.
