Is bf going to get to any of those either?

From the Vanyaland website:

"Violent Femmes released their latest album, We Can Do Anything, in March 2016 and are expected to reveal a new record later this year. Echo & The Bunnymen’s most recent record was 2014’s stellar Meteorites, but hey, let’s face it, you’re rolling down to the Seaport this summer to hear the hits."

Harsh but true.

Also, it looks like the Bunnymen are going to be within 90 minutes of me for that Columbus date. Ten years ago I would have been very excited. Now I'm just not that excited to be honest but I might know a couple of others that will be going so that might sway me. I liked Violent Femmes back in the day but I could care less about them now. My hope is that Bunnymen play first.
Was that stated curmudgeonly enough?

Dr Cheese himself couldn't have stated in a more curmudgeonly fashion.

I need to know if there's seating and if I can be home for supper.

Okay I've been drinking, watching live versions of The Killing Moon and getting overly emotional. Might have to do this.

I've been emotional too, and drinking, but only in an unsuccessful attempt to erase Dr Cheese's above revelation.

You didn't know Dr. Cheese had both male and female parts? Noob.

I heard he has them in pickle jars in his garage but thought they were just rumours.

They're lovely with some crusty bread and a bit of mustard.
