bunnymen song on telly

All because of you days was played in the background as John Craven was chatting away on countryfile, or whatever it's called. Just in case you're interested, like.

Is that really the name of the show? Sounds total redneckish. Is there a character by the name of "Honey Boo Boo"?

Nah. More of a magazine show on matters of the countryside. How many sheep get molested by lonely farmers, why there aren't enough vicars in small villages etc. Yours sounds more interesting.

Your sheep molesting comment reminded me of an ad from around the 1980s with the slogan, 'slam in the lamb' . And no, it wasn't fronted by J Savile.

Sounds like Sir Jimmy fixed it for more people than we'd ever imagined.

I'm sure it is, and not in a good way. I don't watch Honey Boo Boo, but I do watch"The Soup" and they make fun of the show all the time. The series is about a redneck family (the mother has about 8 kids, all with different fathers if that tells you anything) who barely speak English and probably have never been to the dentist. Sadly, it's shows like this that rake in the cash, and that should be a crime, imo.

I wrote to Jim'll fix it back in the late 70's asking if I could sing with Gary Numan and Tubeway Army....I didn't get a reply.

It's because you didn't include a photo of yourself for Sir Jimmy to salivate over and then say, "uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.... now then, now then..... aaaaahhhh..... oh yes. Ooh, goodness gracious me, it's over my shell suit. Howza bout that then guys and girls?"

Sounds like you had a very narrow escape. Imagine the effect it could have had on you to this day, never mind the initial embarrassment, it would have scarred you for life, you might never have got over the experience, I mean singing with Gary Numan, bloody hell. Still, at least you could have sat on Sir Jimmy's knee.

Anyone aware that GN has Asperger's? I'm a little OCD, but anything on the autistic spectrum would be difficult to live with.
