Should the Bunnymen continue?
Should Will put up with this?
Should Mac sort himself out first?

So many questions.

As long as there's bills to pay I see the Bunnymen continuing. If Will had enough I see Mac continuing on.

"Good evening. I'm Ian McCulloch and these are the Bunnymen. They play so fine, don't you agree?"

It all depends on what band turns up, if they continued as I saw them last night I would hope that they simply call it a day....... But when I saw them do the HUH & Crocs dates they were simply superb and I could go and see that band again night after night.....

So it's a hard one for me to answer........

I have avoided them since the NY Ocean Rain show. I had a feeling it would never be better than that. Still brings back amazing memories.

Those Croc/HUH gigs were absolutely fantastic.

Lot of suits around at the Ocean Rain Gigs, all watching and
not joining in. We like a good sing along to all the classics,
even Pictures people sang along too.

What a class act.

If Will's not there it's not the Bunnymen
It wouldn't work if Mac was a slaphead would it.

I often want Mac to punch me, or the opposite way around, but I'm complex.

I hope they breakup but I doubt it happens. I don't understand how fans can want them to continue if they are just going to keep playing the same exact shows (plus or minus a song or two) over and over and over again. It's obviously not about the music for the band at this point, it's about paying bills and I just can't support that personally anymore. They've played pretty much the same exact set list for about 15 years now. Fucking crazy. No wonder Mac is acting like a bigger turd than usual!

I'm just waiting on news about Will's new album at this point.

Yup. Does he do mini nationwide tours to promote his albums?

Shame about that. Kind of got in my head a spiffing idea of a Will Sergeant tour, little venues with a Q&A, playing tracks from his new album and talking stuff about his art. DJ set as well. It'd be great.

If I were Will I think I'd be inclined to tell Mac to shove the Bunnymen up his arse.
I retired from seeing them live a few years ago as I was bored of seeing the same show (same songs, same order, same performance) time after time. I went to see them do Crocs/HUH as it was a break from the norm and yes, it was a fantastic gig but after that I decided I'd seen them for the last time and this latest hoo-hah just confirms I was right.
A Will solo tour would be fantastic.
