Send Mr Brian to Crocodiles/HUH Tour

Postby Sick4Tunz » Sat Jan 15, 2011 3:11 am

Mr. Brian wrote:I'm just saying that if it's in the middle of the week in Chicago then it's not worth the trouble for me because I'd have to take 2 days off work since that's a 4 hr drive one way. If it was on a Friday or Saturday where I could take one day off work and make a weekend out of it and visit friends then I'm in. The likelihood of them playing anywhere closer than that to Cincinnati is almost non-existent.

I had a brainstorm during my virtual concert moments ago, influenced by nicotine and tequila. Television (1978) followed by Public Image Limited (1986) live bootleg concerts, during which I got the truck stuck in a snowy ditch behind the house, abandoned to write this message. I'll figure that out tomorrow. Considering all he's done for us to maintain this forum, allowing us to assemnble and share our Bunnymen (and mastebatory) experiences, lets show our appreciation by collectively helping Mr. Brian find the opportunity to see the Bunnymen perform in May of 2011, whether in a 4 hour drive to Chicago or somewhere else via an airline of his choice. I promse to contribute a substantial amount of cash via the PayPal link below if others do the same. A little bit by all will achieved the desired result. Yes, I am selfish, hoping that this will give me the opportunity to meet the man just before the Bunnymen take the stage.

Do it!

Post'em if ya got'em.

I agree. Not living in the U.S. of A, I'm working on "Send Mr Brian to see the Bunnymen now!" t-shirts. I am also thinking about a charity record and concert as well. I'll get on the phone to Sting, Bono and [s]Chris Martin[/s] later today.

With your help by paying a small donation into my personal bank account, c/o Ugandan Banking Corporation, we will send Mr Brian to see the Bunnymen perform Crocs and HUH in their full entirety. Just remember, a Mr Brian is for life, not just for Christmas.

Could launch a charity single.
Elton John sings "Like a Brian in the wind..." for example
To the logical limit

Don't worry, Mr. B! You'll make parole in time for the tour! I am prepared to give a deposition as a character witness.

I'd be willing to contribute to the "Send Mr. B to Crocs/HUH 2011" fund, if he comes to sunny California! But sorry gogp, I won't send money to your UBC account--you mentioned Chris Martin. For shame.

I strongly disagree. I got one from Santa Claus and I was bored shitless with it by Boxing Day. It is currently displayed in my local RSPCA charity shop window amidst the rusty second hand coffee percolators, knitted doll toilet roll holders and tweed jackets which smell of sick.

I put my Mr. Brian into a black bin liner along with some bricks. Tied a knot, using heavy duty sellotape, chains and a padlock to ensure it was secure. I then threw it and the padlock keys from a bridge into a deep river. Mr. Brian is no Harry Houdini after that lot.

Mr Brian, you need to learn how to teleport yourself. You could start by reading Harry Potter.

We gonna make this happen for Mr. Brian or what?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I refuse to transport anywhere after what happened to the Science Officer in Star Trek the Motion Picture. Fuck that!
