Clicked on "more info" at the ticketmaster link and got:

"Sorry, but this event no longer exists in our database."
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Live Nation says there's a presale July 10 starting at 10 a.m. Has BOF mentioned this at all? Wouldn't a password be necessary?

I have a chum who stays in Toronto, he moved ove a couple of years ago.....

He's told me that it's a great venue and the acoustics are superb.......

And I know for a fact that they'll be at least 6 people there..... Sadly I won't as am visiting him in 2010.......

My fear is that they will announce concert dates and venues in dribs and drabs. Do I buy a ticket to the Toronto show or wait for another scheduled show closer to home, possibly missing an opportunity if it fails to materialize.

I bought a ticket to the December 18th Liverpool show, not yet deciding whether I'll go. I buy a ticket for about $30 and then spend $800 getting there and back. Ha! But the thought of seeing them on their home turf intrigues me. Any guess on how the Liverpool show would compare to their highly orchestrated Ocean Rain shows?

Well if the Ocean Rain show recordings are anything to go by Mac seems to let his voice go for Liverpool shows.

Mac mentioned on NPR

Postby salt » Sat Jul 11, 2009 5:40 pm

Matthew Ryan singer for The Dead Satellites was compared to Mac on NPR today. The reviewer compared Ryan to a cross between Paul Westerberg (the Mats) and Ian Mac ! Two of my favorite groups mentioned together (well Mac and Westerberg - probably would have offended Ian! (I hope he quits puffing) never thought I'd hear that. There is an old video of Westerberg complimenting the Bunnymen, though. If anyone cares to listen:

Can't wait to hear more from the Bunnymen ! The Fountain, whatever is next. Some of the oldies but goodies: Nothing Lasts Forever (sans the ode to the coach, please) feel my pulse, baby hold on, sideways eight , flowers, fools like us -Just Bring them on all ready!

Didn't one of them die in the Phillipines?
