Epic

Listening to the live version and it could be a decent song if they toughened it up a bit. Maybe a little less chimey. Definitely better than Think I Need It Too.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

It would help if they gave us a reason not to.

Epic. Nah it was renamed Forgotten Fields in about 2007, 2006, 1805 or whenever The Fountain was originally supposed to be released. Then the studio version was played on Brazilian radio in about 1936. Sounded pretty good, apart from Mac's voice croaking when he tries to sing the Can't you see bit in the chorus. I think it's better than Think I Need It Too, but there is supposed to be this song, The Idolness of Gods, that Mac claimed as the best rock song he has ever written or something like that (note the word best rock song rather than the best song). Haven't heard it yet.

That has to be the least rockin' song title I have ever heard.

Now if it's called The Idleness of Gods I take it all back. That is one rockin' song title.

Perhaps it is The Idleness of Gods. I got the title from wilkipedia's The Fountain listing, vaguely remembering Mac's mention of it in a radio interview yonks ago. Given the consensus on the band's setlists, sound, etc, what about "The Idleness of Mac and Will". That would be more suitable, no?

We're trying to get Mac to be more cryptic not less.

Was there a link to the megaupload for the studio version of Epic a while back? If so, I totally missed it, would like to hear it.
