i am pretty sure this is the ocean rain re-issue they were talking about before... but now you can get it on itunes, instead of only from the import stores. however it's the UK itunes... which usually means US customers can't view it, but i was able to hit "change store" and get to it. it costs £9.99 for the whole thing.

i'm old school, and think i might want to buy the physical hold-it-in-my-hand CD rather than the download, but i am glad peter linked to it for us

I'm with you ... I'd rather have the real thing, esp. with the new and improved LINEAR notes from Mac and Will

I guess we know the author of this particular blurb.

Me too. I don't need another copy of Ocean Rain, tho. Even with new linear notes. But I guess to get the '83 show, you have to throw down for both. Is it available in the U.S. yet, or just on import?

Would also love the audio of that Rockpalast show.

Ok, I thought this was the 2008 RAH Ocean Rain gig and 1983 in one package.

It is Ocean Rain again. I just bought the Rhino one. Unless Will is b#@$%ing about Ian in the booklet, or giving specific details about the recording process, I dunno.

Maybe.

nah, they wouldn't release the 2008 show that fast. its just another copy of regular ocean rain. but now with added RAH '83 goodness. we'll probably have to wait 5+ years and they'll release another Ocean Rain set with original ocean rain and the 2008 RAH live set. then there will be another one with the NYC one. and then the Liverpool one. we could collect the set.

You know, the 1983 show, if someone here confirms the remastering makes it sound great - might be worth the price of admission.

Is the Do It Clean version the one I like with the "Can't shoot a man in the back" quote?

And where is RED?!!?!?!?!?!?

Were Bunnymen.com and we appruve this mesage.

I ordered it from Townsend Records. The dollar total was just over $24.00. The 1983 RAH show is available (via bootleg) from McCrank's but this release is supposed to be remastered. But I remember reading that Do It Clean and maybe one other song is not on this version because of "technical" issues (essentially they didn't want to pay the licensing fees).

I'm looking forward to the new linear notes.

Here's a download site for the Rockpalast show.

http://filespump.com/download_file.php? ... t+1983.rar

You'll need winrar to open the file. It's an okay program to use (even without paying for it....)!

Forget it if there is not Do It Clean. I mean really.
And I am not going to steal it from the band (because I am too lazy and don't trust file shares - but I pawn it off as righteousness to put myself above others, but I digress) .
