Welcome to 2025 and what an excellent year it promises to be…

Our first release this year is a really special one - Will Sergeants ‘Weird as fish’ will be available, for the first time EVER on vinyl. Having first come out in 1978 as a limited cassette release (only 7 copies!) and then a small CD run in 2003. This is an amazing opportunity to own this historical Document 47 years after its home recording in Liverpool.

We’ve gone all out on this one with 3 x limited edition formats:

Artist Expression Edition Vinyl
Limited to just 50 copies each one is pressed on eco-vinyl and comes in a bespoke sleeve hand painted, signed and numbered by the man himself. Also includes a print of the regular album sleeve, signed art print and insert

Standard Green Vinyl
Limited to 500 copies with signed art print and insert.

Cassette
Limited to 100 copies with signed art print and insert.

All the deluxe editions now appear to be sold out - that was bloody quick!
Copies on standard green vinyl and cassette are still available at the mo'.

It's a pretty busy time over at AV8, including the exciting news from label founder Pete Wilky that the legendary Shack are to play some shows next month (see you at the Olympia people!). AV8 do a superb job with their releases and seems to be the perfect partners for the Sarge who puts so much care and effort into all he does as well. This one looks a bit special.
