I saw one of their roadies went for their US visa a week or so ago. The visa excuse for that US festival seems to be a sham. I’m still going with someone wasn’t vaccinated before. I feel for those who booked travel for their Euro shows and lost money when they cancelled those gigs.

While you were stalking said roadie did you check purpose of visit wasn't "Ive always wanted to do the roadtrip thing, visit the land of the free and walk in Chuck Berry's footsteps" or somethign suchlike and not "hump gear for a pair of unreliable old scrotes"?

They’re a friend of a friend who I’ve met once or twice. FC, you might be the one into stalking but cheers for your efforts. As much as the Bunnymen and everyone love the US (they say it in nearly every article now), the visa was for the US tour, so they mentioned in a post. Was merely passing along the info for our chums in the states who are looking to go to the shows.

Just curious when people have inside knowledge, that's all. Some people get sparky when you ask, lol, and some say things like, hey but I can't say who.

On their way home from the memorial service in Manchester, they stopped in to say goodbye to our mutual friend Ian in Rainhill. Tomorrow they fly-out on their U.S. tour. Safe travels! Photo by Peasy who was being shy, Still, he snuck his hand in on the bottom

Their website says the tour doesn’t start until the 15th. Where is the rest of Ian’s body. He still looks ill.

US Tour off to a bad start. The first show in Atlanta was cut short, here's 2 reports from Twitter...

@MollyTommyComm
Bad show! If he was sick he should have cancelled or informed his fans. Max of 50 minutes performance is unacceptable. Leaving the stage for 20+ minutes unacceptable. Projectile vomiting leaving after rushing a song unacceptable.

@Michael06513216
That show was horrendous last night. The singing was awful, guitars were bad, keys all over the place. Why not cancel if you know it wasn’t going to be decent? Stop robbing the fans. We paid a lot of money for those tickets and got projectile vomiting instead.

And the Houston and Dallas shows have been cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances". Mac the Mess. It's getting very sad.

For the last few tours he usually starts off pretty good and goes downhill as the tour progresses across the US, so you are better off catching an East Coast show but this time its right out of the gate.

Oh dear. Did they print up new t-shirts for this round of shows? I fear they have a whole warehouse full of merch now from tours that never happened. They might eventually be collectors items.

Sucks for the people who bought tickets to those shows. If they postpone, can they still get their money back? I think the last person I saw cancel dates was Midge Ure. Can’t remember where he was but he said it was due to covid. It has to be something more otherwise they would’ve said something by now? I don’t know how they get paid but this has to be an expensive holiday.
