There's nothing like the picture of a nice shiny helmet to sell records.

Don't think so, cancelled my double gatefold heavyweight vinyl. £30 for two new songs and rehash of Holy Ghost

I only ordered the cd, so my birthday present from me to me now becomes a (slightly) early Christmas present from me to me.

Yeah will wait for the reviews and then if Mrs Tenner is struggling for ideas for Christmas presents may add to my letter to Santa

Ironically just received the Bob Dylan The Real Royal Albert Hall 1966 Concert vinyl nearly 52 years after the event.

20th march

Hi everyone, Peasy here; the new Bunnymen album ‘The Stars, The Oceans and the Moon’ is finished and has been delivered to our new record label BMG. I’ve been playing it all day and it’s sounding incredible, I’m totally blown away. The new songs ‘The Somnambulist’ & ‘How Far?’ sound fantastic with amazing lyrics and killer guitar. I can’t wait for you to hear them.
The classic Bunnymen tracks reimagined with strings and things are mind blowing; songs that I’ve lived with for most of my life have taken on a whole new meaning to me, sounding as beautiful as ever before, these versions really will make you sit up and listen over and over again.
Anyway, I’m off to have another listen, keep you posted when it’s coming out..

LOL

Last line says it all.

How many syllables in Zimbo and Down, can't take that long. Oh for the old days when The Beatles were knocking out two albums a year

In an exclusive interview, lead singer of Echo and The Bunnymen Ian McCulloch said the reason why the new record had been delayed was because he wasn’t satisfied with the vocals. Says Mac “Authenticity is very important to me, and these songs are some of the greatest songs ever written. If I have to do each word syllable by syllable I will.”

May I ask, where was this interview published?

La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la

So sad about us
So sad about us
Sad that the news is out now
Sad, suppose we can't turn back now
Sad about us

So bad about us
So bad about us
Bad - never meant to break up
Bad - suppose we'll never make up
Bad about us

Apologies mean nothing
When the damage is done
But I can't switch off my loving
Like you can't switch off the sun

La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la

La la la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la la la

So sad about us
So sad about us
Sad - never meant to break up
Sad - suppose we'll never make up
Sad about us

I think I've said it before but I'll say it again anyway - it's going to be a steaming pile of turd! "Strings and things"? Are they taking the piss!!
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time

Any chance you can tell us what song that’s based off of?
We’d like to hear the music!

Now had they said strings and Ftink they'd be onto something.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

That's completely at odds with Peasy's official statement. Not good enough for fans who were asked to wait five months in the first place. But, those who are still fans probably enjoy the drama as much as the music...Is there any truth to the rumor that Nick Kilroe is leaving the band?
