Sounds interesting. I’m looking forward to this. There was a b side around the Flowers period which was a redone version of A Promise subtitled “lo-fi lullabye #1” that I really liked.
They said there would be more, they promised.

And do they take payment for the items now? Six months seems a bloody long time for a pre-order, it's practically a pledge.

Did not know that. Ah well, maybe they will work really really hard on those 4 songs.

Liverpool’s post-punk legends Echo and The Bunnymen have announced their next record—their first since 2014’s Meteorites.

The brand new album, The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon’ will be released in May of 2018 and will feature Bunnymen classics transformed and reinterpreted with co producer Andy Wright into “new songs with strings and things attached

“I’m not doing this for anyone else. I’m doing it as it’s important to me to make the songs better. I have to do it.” -Ian McCulloch

Ian McCulloch and co. have never been timid or averse to grand gestures, so this album of “improved” studio re-recordings of past highlights is well within character.

The track list hasn’t been disclosed at the time of writing, but is said to include some new songs alongside the reworked hits.

Must have writers Block
