BMG

Postby King Of Kings » Tue Oct 10, 2017 5:35 am

In June 2017 the Bunnymen proudly announced that the band has signed to BMG, marking the group’s return to a major label for the first time since the 1990s.

On top of that, the band said, in a Facebook post, that it’s “looking forward to sharing future releases very soon.”

So What have we had so far.

Rumors of a Albert Hall gig by Will to take place in November 2017 never materialized.

Talk of two EPs being work on by Mac in 2016 never materialized.

A Mac Biography "Silver Fish" spoke about by Mac in 2015 never materialized because Mac considered it to be to personnel.

No Xmas dates

But we do have a a Mac Duet with A-ah in MTV unplugged -Killing Moon.

We also have a couple of re-hasshed greatest Hits CDs and duplicated Live 12"

I thought it was you who started the Albert Hall rumours KoK. Well I've got VIP tickets anyway.

BMG are too busy advertising Morrissey's upcoming album all over Europe.
He's making a number of tv shows like in the good old days.

Let’s hope the Albert Hall show’s as good as the secret VT show Mac and Will did for us last week.

Have to say the new reissues of the classic albums are lovely, and some nice words from Will, les and Mac in them as well.

Joking aside, would love them to release A Crystal Day on CD, a far better gig than the Albert Hall.
