[quote="Voodoo Billy"]Because the price of coal was so high due to Arthur Scargill? So he voted for Thatcher, even though he was a left wing socialist?[/quote

Bingo. From memory: "I'm a left wing socialist, aye. But I didn't like Scargill putting the price of coal up, and my Andy's got to buy it, and it's like buying gold dust. So I voted for Thatcher, aye."

When Pete left the Bunnymen in the mid 80's he formed a legendary band called the Sex Gods / Balcony Dogs. This band later toured the UK supporting one the the great punk bands. Who were they?
