bunnymen in cracking form, finnished with rousing "cutter" not sure what the James fans thought.
Lips Like Sugar
Rescue
Seven Seas
Bring on the Dancing Horses
Nothing Lasts Forever
Zimbo
Never Stop
The Killing Moon
The Cutter
as for James stayed till the end, like some of it, but it sort of drifted along.tim booth certainly knows how to milk his crowd they absolutely loved it!
nice to hear the bunny's in good form!

all a bit "staged" for me, a lot of long lingering Tim booth looking wistful moments, a bit of crowd surfing and climbing in the crowd which i am guessing is a regular occurrence at James gigs, but he gives his audience what they want.the James flower logo is proper poncy enjoyed showing a couple of James fans my hoody logo, i think it was all a bit lost on most of them!

A brilliant night at the front with Bunnygod, Mac was in fine form, Bedbugs was wonderful unfortunately got trapped down there by all the James fans swarming in as the Bunnymen ended, really don't get them at all. Was definitely tempted to go down again on Saturday and get a ticket outside

Good review that. It must be well frustrating to have written 4 of the best albums ever and have to play support to a bunch of soap dodging (copyright Dave Smith) manc chancers like James.

It can't be ideal playing half empty venues with a stage time of 7.15!

Yes there have been the self inflicted damage but the Bunnymen have also been spectacularly unlucky with a criminally overlooked back catalogue.
