An article from The Guardian talks about the urine throwing antics of some divs at the stone roses concerts. Found this in the comments section:

In a crowd at the front near the stage, I'm a 5ft 5" woman, a huge guy put his arm around my neck and started to throttle me, all the time looking me in the eye and laughing. He let go when I was clearly on the verge of passing out. I was 16 years old. I so wish I'd reported it but I didn't, and never told anyone (my friends had stayed further back than me).

Well....me and my mates were 16 when we went to New Order at Wolves Civic in 86.Got down the front and suddenly as NO come on the old pyschobilly following (oh yes popstars they really did have them)pushed in en mass,took one look at four skinny indie kids and decided to punch us into submission backwards.My mates glasses knocked off his head thankfully given back to him by a slightly kinder punter.Great gig though and taught us very quickly about growing up in Wolverhampton....

Somehow, in the Jesus and Mary chain gig I went to there was a huge pogo circle, and even a crowd-surfer. None @ EATB.
Oh, and I was at the front at Peter Hook and there was some sort of brawl, everyone got pushed back and I felt the impact all the way to where I was standing. Even Hooky tried to seperate between them!
