Mac is on BBC6Music's Radcliffe and Maconie show shortly about his album I think. Something on twitter-sphere about changing management and planning another solo record, this time of collaborations.

Can he please focus on the one that was supposed to be out already? He's getting a little ahead of himself.

That was what BBC6 Music put on its tweets. This interview hasn't been on yet, it seems. My first reaction, another album? What about the Bunnymen then, but then thought, what with Will putting out a good album and on about doing some more, while even one of their hired hands is coming up with something pretty good I don't really care to be honest. Yep, not much cop pushing an album that I believe none of you lucky people that bought it have got yet.

Apparently, Mac is aiming high on his next album of collaborations and he will be working on this straight away after the new album. His "new" management team have got some ideas for collaborators but they haven't approached them yet. Perhaps now is the time to call time on Echo & The Bunnymen then.

Pete Byrne and Peasy were both certainly posted missing last night, which I found strange. But maybe that explains why........

Interesting. Not unusual for a solo artist to have different management to his own band.Sounds good to me...needs new input and sounded great last night by all accounts.
