I'm pretty sure The Sex Gods Story was seralised in a free fanzine a few years back exclusively written by Tim Whittaker?

It was also covered in detail in Amazing Spiderman #138.

Found the fanzine it was called WIG OUT! and Tim Whittaker wrote several parts for the publication. The story centered around the group in New Orleans.
WIG OUT also was the first place The Divine Thunderbolt Corps got released. Apparently the guys who ran Wig Out knew all pretty well.
I never knew about Sex Gods supporting The Ramones
Saw The Balcony Dogs supporting Spear Of Destiny on Tour a couple of times around the time Trip was released.
Anyone go to any of those dates?

Just saw them the once, unfortunately. Pete had returned to the Bunnymen fold by that time, late '87.
