Liverpool 08 Events

So I was searching the Liverpool events and the BBC websites to find the BBC Breakfast Show Ian interview, which I had no luck with - but I found some photos from the opening festivities for the Liverpool opening night. There was a "Precious Cargo" barge container (full of celebrities) that was lowered with a crane.

Isn't this Will that's next to Marc Almond?

There were more celebrities, but I couldn't find Ian, if he was even there. The other photos were too far away.

i was wondering... everyone's been talking about mac this and mac that cuz he's the only one that ever does any press crap (i know it's cuz he's the only one people recognize, if they even know who the bunnymen ARE... ).

but i wondered if Will even got to participate in any of this stuff... glad he was there...

and look! Will doesn't HAVE A FREAKING BEARD!

And sometimes it's a case of the only person willing to do the press tour is Ian. I like it when Will takes on the press duties and is interviewed. It gives a different perspective.

Well that BBC programme tonight on the Echo arena turned into a bit of a let down as well. A two-second burst of the Bunnymen, but no coverage of their bit. Instead, we got the bloody Farm & Pete Wylie for about two minutes singing "All Together Now" as well as Ringo Starr. Perhaps there were contractual reasons why Nothing Lasts Forever was never shown, but the highlights were a load of bollocks.

Thanks for info on tonight's BBC program. That sucks that their coverage was nil.

Hollands Pies
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.
