yes but didn't he also say some of the album was like the sex pistols. my point being, m'lud, that the man clearly talks out of his arse and is an unreliable witness.

He's prolly great to bullshit with in a bar ... but not someone you want on your side if you get hauled into court, eh?

Yes, but don't you see. I took this as a reverse thingmy doo. Mac says it's the best thing ever and it's not. Mac says it's crap and it's the best thing ever. Well that's my theory... hopefully...

Yes, but Mac also reckons that the Bunnymen's highs seem to mirror those of his beloved LFC. Maybe he should check out the league table before he enters the studio?

That crap song is the next single! JEEZUS....the band is still picking the wrong songs to release as singles. That tiny wafer of a song is rubbish.
I rather prefer the Glide instrumental on the Bunnymen video blog (from recent North American Tax Party). That is what the Bunnymen should sound like -- with a scouser like Ian singing over the top of it. If I wanted bubble-gum pop -- I would buy The Decemberists.

Dunh! Dunh! Dunh! Dunh! Do la-da! Do la-da!
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
