both i think. in the meantime he's gone through the 40 and 50 age barriers. that period can be particularly cruel - its the start of the slippery slope to piss, dribble and not caring about your bad breath. in the rust video (one of those corbjin lets walk along, and then walk along a bit more vids, and no sign (in the quick look i had) of the sarge anywhere) he's deffo got a bit of the bowie wannabe look, not to mention a bit of guyliner.

Seriously though, what's the difference between the Bunnymen or New Order or Embrace doing it? They were all like the England football team's performance in the world cup, shit - novelty songs. As an official England footie song, nobody remembers Top of the World at all. Most remember New Order, Baddiel and Skinner with the Lightning Seeds (which actually wasn't a world cup song) and Fat Les.

The lyric "love you forever England..." is just so gay! Football is not about love, it's about hooliganism and treading on opposing fans heads as they lie helpless on the ground, as summed up by the far superior Fat Les song "Vindaloo."
That lyric, delivered with a hollowed out shell of a voice by Mac, heralded the start of the bunny apocalypse!

Also, what did the Spice Girls have to do with football, other than Beckham knocking off Posh Spice? I blame England Utd for starting that whole WAG thing. The whole song was so false, kind of like that bloke out of the IT Crowd trying to pretend he is a football fan.

Bloody hell KOK, talk about being on a mission!

I like KOK because he's like the grumpy uncle who always has something to complain about (like Jeff Dunham's "Walter"). Who else would dig up this terrible old video? Keep up the good work! I find it all so amusing, a break from the more serious analysis of what Mac said yesterday and how that may reflect his state of mind. The true believers stand unswayed.

He has good genes but even his natural beauty was not immune to such hard living. What a shame. He should've aged well, like Moz.

Minus the blonde, the Spice chicks were pretty hot and Mac looked pretty classy in his outfit and fashionably short doo.

Seriously people, I think it was a bad move for them overall, however, I can understand why Mac wanted to do this. It's not bad for a pop song, it just wasn't good for the Bunnymen. They are just not a "cute" band and the whole thing was cute. If you imagine it's not them and all about football, kids and having a great time, you'll be better off.

On the other hand, Les looked really fab. ;)
