I say they keep going. They were so close in the 80s and now the old guys of rock n roll rule. Kids were running around in Pogues t-shirts and telling me it was the 2080s not 2008. Their albums were charting at rumor has it that Think I Need It Too was their fist actual chart success. #39 on Billboard singles chart.

Never Stop!!!!

They "rule" what exactly?

Who gets the last packet of salt and vinegar at their lunch meetings with Pete & Peasy?
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Well, if the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith are like 60 or something, then there's no shame in keeping going. I mean Lou Reed was an anomaly of the old guy still working, now it's ok to be an older rock n roller.

Not a blip in the mainstream media. Billboard magazine's last album entry was Siberia and last article was about OR going into space.

I assumed they were living a a hand-to-mouth existence. I looked around the Nokia Theater and the audience and wondered how much money could they be making off this gig.

I hope they continue to make music as long as they put out a few songs the fan base likes. This is as good as it will get at this late stage in their career. Enjoy’em while they are still around.

Once you are hiring so many musicians to do a full string section, money becomes an issue. Hopefully the annals of music history will smile on them for their music over their popularity. But then, some far more popular bands burnt out after, what, two albums? I soooo wish I had been at the Nokia. :( I was sick.
