I just randomly started looking around for Echo and the Bunnymen on Friday night because they are one of the few bands from the 80s that don't embarrass me. I was a fan from the moment I heard Rescue. Thanks to KROQ (which was cutting edge back then) we got the inside scoop on things that were actually cool. (OH, and things that embarrass me today like Duran Duran, Japan and other blechy stuff). I just signed up here tonight, so I'll be in the know for next time. If it were up to LA, Echo and the Bunnymen would have charted out here--so I really don't want to hear about how cool NYC is.

Still wishing Mac would quit smoking and let me work with him vocally--I ran off and studied opera but still sing multiple styles. There is no cure for post-punk, the Doors or Led Zeppelin. Just glad EATB is still around.
