I've been a Bunnymen fan for over 25 years, they were always my favourite band. I've bought tickets for the Manchester Ritz gig and the first of the three Liverpool Christmas gigs (which is now the last, make sense?). But what I witnessed at the Wild Swans' Static appearance last week was truly magical. It must be said, the whole set was magnificent and it was capped superbly by Will for the encore. What's more, it seemed like they were all having a blast. Maybe a joint Bunnymen / Swans tour (like the one in '82?) of smaller venues is too much to hope for, does anyone think Mac would agree on alternate headlining? But it might be the kind of thing the Bunnymen need at this moment in time. Put me down for two tickets.

Mathematically, when Will stepped onstage with Wild Swans, the Swans were just as much EATB as the current Bunnymen lineup.

Not if you use a weighted average.

Let's have a heated debate, who'd you prefer as the Bunnymen? Mac and Will or Will and Les?
I'd have to go with Mac and Will even though I think Mac is a bit of a tosser these days.

Mac always was a bit of a tosser, truth be told. He could just carry it off and deliver years ago.
Now I don't think he even remotely believes any of the shite he spouts, which promotes him to über-tosser.

I'd watch out for bubble-permed men in shellsuits if I were you, young lady.
