Bunnymen At Glastonbury

Any word on this? I noticed the BBC completely ignored them during their live coverage yesterday they didn't even get a name check and theyhaven't got any footage of them on their dedicated Glastonbury page.
Par for the course I suppose.

You could say it was part of course if it was about has beens from decades ago, but look what was broadcast constantly. Bruce Springsteen, Madness. Even bloody Status Quo. I thought Eavis moaned a few years about the age of the audience at Glastonbury. It looked more like the Glastondadrock festival.

The Bunnymen being ignored. Fair enough and I guess to be expected, but the emerging bands and artists that would have had a much bigger coverage a few years ago when it was just John Peel and Jo Whiley presenting the show were also ignored.

On the BBC's Entertainment News page on their teletext service there was a report on the Blur closing set, Prodigy on the other stage and Black Eyed Peas on the Jazz(?) stage, nothing about the Bunnymen headlining on the Peel stage. Has Dorian Cope infiltrated the BBC?
