Anybody seen this?
I fear it, yet am strangely drawn to it at the same time

If by "gift" you mean making people aware something that has been around for 7 years or so then yes it was "gifted" in the last year or less as I recall.

That mashup audio has been around since at least when Flowers came out as I recall.

yes. that was the "gift" given around christmas maybe 2005? go home productions (a.k.a. mark vidler) did the mashup. he also did one called "i believe in killing time" with cher's "i believe" vocals and the killing moon music. i think the abba one is better.

and he did a remix of "thorn of crowns" which i think is great... i think he's a big fan of the bunnymen. he's one of the best mashup guys i've heard.

Interesting Forum. I just came upon this place while checking the statistics on my youtube page.

Just to add to the comments on this topic. I am the creator of this video. I chatted with Mark Vidler when I first made the video and he told me that he is friends with Ian and the band. They love Marks mix btw.
